My name is Roscoe Ferris and I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the State of Vermont. I am also a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor in the state of Vermont. I have been supervised and trained in Individual, Family, and Group Therapy. I have received training in a variety of therapeutic styles including Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, NLP, addictions counseling, and Experiential Therapy.

As a Social Worker I work with and have experience in working with a wide variety of psychological and emotional problems, including Trauma, Mood disorders like Depression and Bipolar, Grief and Loss, Anger and Stress Management, Anxiety, Substance Abuse and Dependence, and Dual Diagnosis issues with Substance Abuse Disorders and mood and/or anxiety disorders. I’ve spent over 10 years working in substance abuse and mental health treatment/therapy. I assist clients by providing needed assessment and substance abuse/mental health therapy and by working closely with them, their families, and other health professionals. I provide individual and group psychotherapy at my office in South Burlington. I currently have openings and accept most major insurance including Medicaid/VHAP, BCBS, Cigna, MVP and Coventry. .
